Abstract:
To provide a printing device that facilitates adjustment for suppressing a difference in page length between a front surface and a rear surface of a web.SOLUTION: Printing control parts 58A and 58B respectively control timing of discharging ink in inkjet heads 46 of printing parts 23A and 23B, on the basis of respective output pulse signals of encoders 22A and 22B. The printing control part 58B controls timing of switching a page in the printing part 23B in accordance with timing of switching a page in the printing part 23A. Further, the printing control part 58B adds a mark to a position of rear end of a page in image data on an object to be printed by the printing part 23B. An adjusting part 57 performs processing for adjusting a pulse period of an output pulse signal by the encoder 22A so that a difference between a page length of a front surface and a page length of a rear surface is reduced, on the basis of determination of whether the mark is printed on the rear surface of a web W or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
