Abstract:
To improve printing quality in a printing device using a robot.SOLUTION: A printing device has a head, and a robot changing a position and a posture of the head to a workpiece. The head includes a first nozzle array on which a plurality of nozzles discharging a first ink are aligned, and a second nozzle array on which a plurality of nozzles discharging a second ink are aligned. The robot has an arm portion that has a tip end, a base end, and a plurality of joints, and a base portion connected to the base end. At the tip end, the head is supported. The brightness of the second ink is lower than the brightness of the first ink. The plurality of joints have a first joint that is the closest joint to the tip end among the plurality of joints. The first joint is a rotary mechanism around a first rotation shaft, and when viewed in a direction along the first rotation shaft, a distance between the second nozzle array and the first rotation shaft is smaller than a distance between the first nozzle array and the first rotation shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
