Abstract:
To solve the problem that it takes time and efforts for a user to determine a mode in which a printing job is executed.SOLUTION: The printing device, even if an instruction for executing printing processing in a first mode in which printing processing for image data in a first page included in received printing data and processing for generating image data in a second page included in the printing data are performed in parallel is included in the printing data, performs printing processing in a second mode in which printing processing for image data in each page is executed after processing for generating the image data in each page included in the printing data is completed, if reverse/opposite-order printing settings are included in the printing data; and executes the printing processing in the first mode if the instruction for executing is included in the printing data and if the reverse-order printing settings are not included in the printing data, where the reverse-order printing settings are printing settings which designate that a printed matter in the last page of the printing data is outputted first and then a printed mater in the next page of the data is outputted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
