Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing equipment which can reduce production costs and enhance production efficiency.
SOLUTION: In this gravure printing equipment 1, gravure printing and inkjet printing are done. In the gravure printing, a film 12 is pressed against plate cylinders 14a-14c by impression cylinders 13a-13c, and ink is transferred to the film 12, so that the printing can be done. The inkjet printing is done by ejecting the ink to the film 12 from inkjet heads 19a-19d. Thus, the same patterns are gravure-printed on all products, and different information can be printed on each of the products by using the inkjet heads 19a-19d. Since the plate cylinder does not have to be manufactured for each of all the products, and troublesome work for replacing the plate cylinder for use in each of the products is made unnecessary, production cost can be reduced and the production efficiency is enhanced.
