Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an ink residual amount closer to a value of an actual ink residual amount even when air contained in an ink container, air mixed in an ink supply pipe, and failure and defect of a machine such as an ink supply pump cause air leakage or the like.SOLUTION: A control part 4 includes: pump operation time measuring means 41 which measures an operation time of an ink supply pump 31; and ink residual amount calculating means 42 which obtains an ink supply amount supplied from an ink container by accumulating with a supply amount per unit operation time without including a time exceeding a previously set logical maximum operation time per one time of the ink supply pump out of the measured operation time of the ink supply pump in an operation time of the ink supply pump, and subtracting the ink supply amount from an ink residual amount in the ink container to calculate the ink residual amount in the ink container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
