To reduce waste of sheets regardless of the size and reception order of individual received images in nesting printing.SOLUTION: A device for processing a printing job for nesting printing comprises: arrangement means which arranges images of the received printing job by arranging the images in the order of reception along the width direction of the sheet; calculation means which calculates the margin width of the sheet when the images are arranged; and replacement means which replaces the replaceable image with an image of a newly received printing job when the image of the newly received printing job cannot be arranged in the margin having the margin width calculated with respect to the images that have been arranged. The replaceable image is the image included in the images that have been arranged and the image in which the margin width after replacing the replaceable image with the image of the newly received printing job becomes shorter than the margin width before replacement by zero or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
