Abstract:
To inexpensively provide a method which surely suppresses behavior, such as floating of sheets, caused by insufficient pressing of sheets during printing, in a rotary letterpress printing machine including a printing cylinder, a plate cylinder, and a letterpress surface attached to the plate cylinder.SOLUTION: A printing machine includes a printing cylinder, a plate cylinder, and a letterpress surface attached to the plate cylinder. In the printing machine including sheet pressing printing plates, sheet pressing printing plates are provided at places where the letterpress surface of the plate cylinder is not attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
