To provide a printing machine which can prevent bleed defects where the color developing dyestuff spread in the fiber direction even in the areas protruding along the fiber direction and eliminate messy images on the fiber when printing on fiber, such as a cloth by an electrographic system.
The printing machine uses the toner containing a resin and dyestuff to print on a cloth by an electrographic system. It has at least a latent image carrier as an image forming means, a static charging means, an exposing means for forming latent images, a developing means to develop the latent image by using the toner, and a transfer means to transfer images to the cloth to be printed. It regulates the adjusting resolution of the exposing amount of the above exposing means in the warp thread direction consisting of protrusions over the textures of the cloth to be printed, then prints in a direction having higher adjusting resolution of the exposing amount, in the main scanning direction, and its sub-scanning direction.
