To provide a printing machine capable of reducing a web paper loss during the temperature increase of a drying means.

The printing machine is provided with: a printing means capable of performing printing on a web while conveying the web on a conveying path K by holding the web between a pair of printing cylinders 20 and 21 oppositely contacted with each other and rotating the pair of printing cylinders 20 and 21; a drying means disposed on the downstream side of the printing means on the conveying path K and capable of drying the web after printing; and a control means capable of controlling the printing and drying means. The control means sets the conveying speed of the web during the temperature increase of the drying means lower than that during the printing.
