PURPOSE: To save printing time in case of a difficulty by making a printing data processible even during occurrence of the difficulty by a method wherein a storage means of a printing image data in which a printing data is developed in a printing machine having a detection means of a printing difficulty, and a printing means of the same data stored by the same means, are provided.

CONSTITUTION: A computer terminal 1 is composed of the terminal CPU 1a, a memory 1b, a display 1c, a fixed disk drive 1d, a detachable disk drive 1e, and a system clock 1f. A printer 2 is composed of a CPU 2a, a developed memory 2b, a printing unit 2c, a received memory 2d, a display 2e, and a fixed disk device 2f. The computer terminal 1 is connected to the printer 2 by a Centronics Interface 3 to transmit a printing data to the printer 2 from the computer terminal 1, and printing is indicated. The printer 2 is so constructed as to be capable of detecting when difficulties such as exhaustion of printing paper, paper clogging, etc., are generated in the unit 2c.
