PURPOSE: To easily duplicate a document, by providing a capsule layer, which is formed by integrally solidifying capsule particles each formed by covering a viscous liquid recording material with an outer shell by a binder, and an image receiving medium, to which the viscous liquid of the capsule layer is adhered, on a support.
CONSTITUTION: An image receiving medium 4 is superposed to the capsule layer 3 supported by a support 2 to form a printing material 1. This printing material is pressurized by the printing wire provided to the printer of a word processor or heated by a thermal head. By this method, the capsule particles at the pressurized or heated pat of a toner layer 3 are broken to flow out a liquid which is, in turn, adhered to the image receiving medium 4 to form a viscous image 3a on the image receiving medium 4. The image receiving medium 4 is peeled off from a material 1 and mounted to the rotary drum 8 of a printing apparatus so as to turn the image surface upwardly and used as a plate to perform printing.
