To provide a rotary printing press including a mechanism for removing printing failure occurring on a print caused by foreign matter such as ink residues present on one face of a sheet when printing the other face of the sheet in which the one face is printed.

The rotary printing press includes: a printing part 7 having a plate cylinder, a blanket cylinder 12 continued to the plate cylinder and printing on printing sheets 9 and an impression cylinder 11 continued to the blanket cylinder 12, carrying the sheets 9 and making the sheets 9 come into pressure contact with the blanket cylinder 12; a paper feeding part feeding the sheets 9 to the printing part 7; and a paper discharge part discharging the sheets 9 from the printing part 7. A collection cylinder 1 for collecting foreign matter present on the sheets 9 is arranged downstream of the paper feeding part and upstream of the printing part 7.
