To provide a method for printing by using an aqueous inkjet ink which is suitable for a fixed long recording head and is capable of conveying a recording medium with high accuracy, preventing cockling and performing high quality and high speed printing.
In the aqueous inkjet ink, an SP value of a water soluble organic solvent of which the content is the largest in the water soluble organic solvents, is equal to or greater than 16.5 and lower than 24.6 and the content of the water soluble organic solvent having the above SP value is not less than 30 mass% with respect to the total mass of the ink. There is disclosed the printing method for performing one pass of printing by using the above aqueous inkjet ink, supplying the ink to the fixed long head, and ejecting the aqueous inkjet ink from the ink head on plain paper conveyed by a conveyance table. The printing method comprises a means for pressurizing the plain paper just after the deposition by the ink head is completed.
