To form a precise print image easily on a curved surface body, in particular, on the outer surface of a packaging container by printing ink on a film base body for formation of a transfer sheet after being cured, and transferring the printed layer of the transfer sheet on the surface of a curved body in a manner allowing it to be opposite to an adhesive film formed on the surface of the curved body.
Ink is printed on the film base body 1 of a plastic film or the like, and after being cured, a transfer sheet 10 is formed having a print layer 2 capable of separating a cellophane tape. On the other hand, a UV curable primer is applied on the surface of a curved body, e.g. a can cylinder 3 to then irradiate UV ray thereto for formation of an adhesive film 4. After that, the print layer of the transfer sheet 10 and adhesive film 4 are opposed to transfer the print layer 2 on the surface of the curved body 3 through separation of the film base body 1. The adhesive film 4 having the transferred print layer 2 is cured immediately by UV irradiation or heating, or treated such that a clear paint is applied on the print surface 2 to subsequently be cured.
