A doctor unit 33 retains an ink IM charged in a picture element part 30a, and scrapes the excess ink IM on a non-picture element part 30b. While a roll 351 moves along a cam curved line part 350a, a pressure cylinder 31 pressurizes a web W to a plate cylinder 30, and transfers the ink IM in the picture element part 30a to the web W. When the roll 351 moves along a cam curved part 350b, the pressure cylinder 31 separates from the plate cylinder 30 together with the web W. For this, the scraped leakage ink LM adhered onto the non-picture element part 30b does not transfer to the web W. Since the cam curved part 350b is a steep slope part, the web W quickly separates from the rear end side edge of the picture element part 30a. Therefore, the sharpness of the rear end side edge of the ink IM is improved.
