PURPOSE: To simplify a means for adjusting a two-way printing shift, prevent an error in setting from being induced, and set an adjusting value in an automatic and realtime system in a printing processing device.

CONSTITUTION: The title printing processing device consists of a printing processing part 1 conducting printing; an adjustment processing part 2 adjusting a two-way printing shift; an adjusting value setting part 3 setting an adjusting value; an adjusting value calculation part 4 calculating an optimum adjusting value; an image input processing part 5 inputting an image as a printing result; a pattern judging part 6 judging a printing pattern; a medium feed part 7 feeding a medium; and a control part 8 having control of the whole printing device. Under the control of the control part 8, printing is conducted by the printing processing part 1, a printing pattern is judged by the pattern judging part 6, an image is automatically inputted by the image input processing part 5, an optimum value is calculated from the inputted data by an adjusting value calculation part 4, and the resultant value is set and processed by means of the adjusting value setting part 3.
