To provide a printing sheet which can be recycled without removing a paper base of the sheet when the sheet is stuck as a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet or a pressure-sensitive adhesive label by using a pressure-sensitive adhesive which is re-dispersible with water or alkali and inducing no heavy releasing property with time while maintaining the required release force.
The printing sheet has layers of a paper base material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a release material in this order and is characterized by that: the pressure-sensitive adhesive in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer dissolves or swells in water or alkali water; the pressure-sensitive adhesive is a copolymer containing at least (meth)acrylic acid; the release agent is silicone resin-based one; and the pressure-sensitive adhesive is neutralized with a neutralizing agent except for an alkali metal salt.
