Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: in order to obtain one product, a user needs to generate a plurality of pieces of data including a process color version and a special color and decorative version and submit the data to an image forming apparatus, which means that the user needs to perform complicated processing.SOLUTION: A printing system includes an image processing apparatus and an information processing apparatus that transmits print data to the image forming apparatus. The printing system has acquisition means that acquires type information indicating the type(s) of one or more recording agents held in containers installed in the image forming apparatus, and performs control for causing printing means of the image forming apparatus to perform drawing of a version corresponding to the type information acquired by the acquisition means in the print data, and not causing the printing means to perform drawing of a version not corresponding to the type information acquired by the acquisition means in the print data acquired by the acquisition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
