Abstract:
To enhance the flexibility and the usability of a printing/imaging system.
The imaging system has at least two driving units 7 and 9 and at least two writing heads 11. A control unit 19 controls imaging by moving the writing heads 11 independently of each other along an imaging medium 3 to form partial images for generating the whole of an image.
