Abstract:
To accurately print an image longer than a head length of a recording head provided on a handy mobile printer using a plurality of handy mobile printers.SOLUTION: A printing system comprises a printing unit having a plurality of printers arranged so as to be deviated in a direction perpendicular to a scanning direction, and an information processor capable of communicating with each of the plurality of printers. The information processor includes an image division unit for dividing a printing object image longer than a head length of a recording head provided on a printer into a plurality of division images with lengths equal to or shorter than the head length, a printing start position adjustment data generation unit for generating printing start position adjustment data for aligning printing start positions of the plurality of division images, and a transmission unit for transmitting the division images and the printing start position adjustment data to each corresponding printer. The printing unit prints the printing object image on a recording medium by the plurality of printers on the basis of the division images and the printing start position adjustment data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
