Abstract:
To improve printing quality by suppressing deflection of a blanket cylinder in a printing unit and a printer.SOLUTION: A printing unit includes plate cylinders 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b, and blanket cylinders 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b which are in contact with the plate cylinders 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b respectively and are in contact with each other. Slits 83 for fixing printing plates are formed on the plate cylinders 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b. A static friction coefficient to a printing pressure of force, which is generated in a tangential direction of an outer peripheral surface and holds a plate, is 0.3-0.7. An inclination angle to an axial direction of the slit 83 is 30-60 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
