Abstract:
To improve a printing unit of a type which is provided with at least two cylinder pairs each comprising two cylinders 16 and 17 being a transfer cylinder 17 and a plate cylinder 16 disposed corresponding to the transfer cylinder and wherein the transfer cylinder 17 and the plate cylinder 16 are so formed as to have a width for printing six newspaper pages disposed in mutual juxtaposition in the direction of the cylinder axis.
Each of the two pairs of the cylinders 16 and 17 is driven by at least one driving motor 61 independently from the other in terms of a mechanism.
