PURPOSE: To provide a probe cover for a clinical thermometer and a probe cover case having its installing tool whose shape is simple and by which a thin film is easily separated from a die separable member at using time and in which a probe is easily installed and which is easily separated from the probe after being used and hardly gives an unpleasant feeling at using time.

CONSTITUTION: A probe cover 10 for a clinical thermometer is constituted by arranging a thin film 1 on a die separable member 4 through a sticking part 2. The probe cover 10 for a clinical thermometer has positioning holes 5 to be locked on prescribed positions, and is positioned in a prescribed position when the probe cover 10 is taken out of a probe cover case. The sticking part 2 is fixedly arranged on the thin film 1, and when prescrined separative force is applied to the probe cover 10 from outside, the sticking part 2 is separated together with the thin film 1, and can be easily installed in a tip part of a probe of a clinical thermometer. After a body temperature is measured, the thin film 1 is separated.
