Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the probe needle which can be brought into linear contact with an electrode pad. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal contact part 20C which is paralleled with the electrode pad 14 is formed at the front end of the probe needle 20 which is provided on a probing substrate and is brought into contact with the electrode pad 14 of a liquid crystal display substrate and this part is brought into contact with the electrode pad 14, by which the linear contact is enabled. As a result, the contact resistance is decreased and the result of inspection is stabilized.
