Abstract:
To provide a process cartridge, in a cleaner-less system, which can prevent a variation in potential after use for a long period in a low temperature and low humidity environment.SOLUTION: A process cartridge that is removably attached to a device main body of an electrophotographic device, has a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor 1, electrifying means 3 that electrifies the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and developing means 5 that performs development with toner to form a toner image on the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and after the toner image is transferred to a transfer material, the developing means recovers a transfer residual toner remaining on the electrophotographic photoreceptor. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a support, a conductive layer that is formed on the support, an intermediate layer that is formed on the conductive layer, a charge generating layer that is formed right above the intermediate layer, and a charge transport layer that is formed on the charge generating layer. The intermediate layer contains a polyamide resin and titanium oxide particles surface-treated with a silane coupling agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
