Abstract:

To prevent the occurrence of image flowing and cleaning failures.

The cartridge attachable to and detachable from an image forming device is equipped with a photoreceptor drum 1 and a cleaning blade 6a. The photoreceptor drum 1 has a surface layer in which a polycarbonate resin having ≤1.5×104 viscosity average mol.wt. is blended. The cleaning blade 6a has the peak of the tanδ of dynamic viscoelasticity characteristics at ≤12°C. In the surface layer of the photoreceptor drum 1, also a polycarbonate resin having ≥1.5×104 viscosity average mol.wt. is blended. The cleaning blade 6a consists of a urethane elastomer. By this method, the cleaning blade 6a can properly and finely scrape the photoreceptor drum surface by minute vibration, which prevents image flowing and cleaning failures.
