PURPOSE: To display an abnormality detection in a process input output part by providing a retriggerable monomultivibrator having a set time longer than the period of a repetitive signal to the process input output part.
CONSTITUTION: A process input output part 2 has a retriggerable monomulti vibrator 2a inside, when the process input output part 2 sends normal data, the repetitive signal to be supplied from a control part 1 is supplied through a communication line 3 and the set time of the vibrator 2a is set longer than the period of the repetitive signal. Consequently, when the data sent from the process input output device to the control part are not correct, the control part stops generation of the sending repetitive signal and the vibrator 2a generates an output signal when the repetitive signal is not supplied for more than the set time. Thus, the trouble of the process input output part 2 is dis played.
