Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a process for high-speed reclamation of cured or semi-cured rubber in which a reclaimed product having lower price is obtained than that in a reclaimed product obtained from drying or grinding treatment.
CONSTITUTION: The method of regenerating vulcanized or semi-vulcanized rubber is provided by subjecting a mass of rubber swelled by an intrinsic solvent together with a harmful or desulfurized chemical element or therein to squeeze. The high-speed reclaiming method for cured or semi-cured rubber can be applied cold or hot at pressure higher or lower than atmospheric pressure. This method is applied to cured or semi-cured rubber composition of an optional kind.
