Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the bleaching efficiency of an inorg. persalt by adding an activator consisting of an acetylated mixture of sorbitol and mannitol to the inorg. persalt.
CONSTITUTION: An activator composed of an acetilated mixture (B) of sorbitol (i) and mannitol (ii) is added to an inorg. persalt such as percarbonate (A) to increase the bleaching efficiency of the component (A). The components (i), (ii) are pref. used in a wt. ratio of 2.5/1-4.0/1, more pref., 3/1 and the acetylation degree of the component B is pref. 1-6.
