Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pharmaceutical composition for inhalation containing carrier particles to improve the quality of preparation by a surface coating with a lower volume of additives.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for inhalation in dry powder is provided, the composition containing at least one kind of active ingredient and carrier particles, the carrier particles comprising lactose particles having weight sizes of 50 to 500 μm with magnesium stearate of 0.15 to 1.0% by weight based on the weight of the carrier covering more than 60% of the surface, and the carrier particles are obtained by processes including a dry coating in a high shear mixer granulator based on friction behavior at a rotation speed equal of 500 to 2000 r.p.m.
