Abstract:

To provide a process for preparing a polymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution by cation polymerization efficiently and to provide a process for preparing this polymer efficiently and safely without using protonic acids, Lewis acids and the like and without burdening a heavy load on the environment.

A reaction apparatus having a micro mixer and a flowing-type reactor connected with it are used. A cation polymerizing monomer and a cation are separately supplied to the micro mixer side of this reaction apparatus and are mixed. Then, the monomer is cation-polymerized.
