Abstract:

To provide a process for producing a desulfurizer for a hydrocarbon which efficiently produces a desulfurizer having a desulfurizing performance to fully remove sulfur in the hydrocarbon.

The process for producing a desulfurizer for a hydrocarbon comprises obtaining a precipitate from a solution or a suspension containing a porous inorganic oxide, and/or its precursor, a nickel compound, a zinc compound, and a platinum compound by co-precipitation, and burning the precipitate to obtain a burned product containing the porous inorganic oxide, nickel, zinc, and platinum.
