Abstract:
To provide an efficient and simple process for producing polymer particles containing a coloring material in the core part and useful for cosmetics, particularly, hair cosmetics.
The process for producing polymer particles having a core part and a shell part comprises dissolving or dispersing a coloring material in a hydrophobic monomer, and emulsifying and dispersing the solution or dispersion in water in the presence of a chitosan and a hydrophilic monomer to effect polymerization. Polymer particles obtained by the process and hair cosmetics containing the polymer particles are provided.
