Abstract:
To provide a processing apparatus and a processing method capable of efficiently processing industrial wastes, especially waste tires or waste rubber crawlers, to make them useful.SOLUTION: Waste tires or waste rubber crawlers are introduced into a processing furnace. Superheated steam generation means supplies superheated steam into the furnace to raise ambient temperature to a prescribed temperature. Heating means performs control to keep the prescribed temperature in the processing furnace to carbonize a resin material that constitutes the waste tires or waste rubber crawlers, thus to allow metal components contained in the waste tires or waste rubber crawlers to be taken out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
