Abstract:
To provide a processing apparatus and processing method for accurately identifying an attribute and state of an object to be processed.SOLUTION: A processing apparatus for processing an object to be processed comprises: a holding device that holds the object to be processed; and a control device that controls the holding device to perform first temporary determination of an attribute and state of the object to be processed on the basis of a first image obtained by capturing the object to be processed of which a first portion is held by the holding device, and hold a second portion of the object to be processed according to a result of the first temporary determination. In the processing apparatus, the control device performs second temporary determination of the attribute and state of the object to be processed on the basis of a second image obtained by capturing the object to be processed of which a second portion is held, and identifies the attribute and state of the object to be processed on the basis of whether or not the attribute of the first temporary determination matches that of the second temporary determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
