Abstract:
To provide a processing composition for silver halide photographic sensitive materials which suppresses stain generated by a residual sensitizing dye of sensitive materials even if the processing time is shortened, which forms no deposits or precipitates even when the processing composition is stored at low temperature, and which does not affect adversely the image storage stability of the sensitive materials even if a processing liquid component remains in the sensitive materials.
The processing composition for silver halide photographic sensitive materials contains at least one kind of chemical compounds shown by the general formula (1).
