Abstract:
PURPOSE: To erase a malodor generated when a plastic lens including sulphur is processed.
CONSTITUTION: When a plastic lens including sulphur is cut or ground, the abrasive around the processing part is vacuum-sucked, and by passing the suction gas through a layer of bivalent metal oxide, malodor is sucked and removed. Consequently, this method has excellent safety and workability, and it is a very effective method in respect of the health of workers and the environmental circumstance.
