CONSTITUTION: An anionic, cationic, mixed bed or neutral ion exchange resin may be used as an absorbent but activated carbon, especially activated charcoal is advantageously used. The absorbent may be brought into contact with washing water or a stabilizer soln. by addition to the liq. followed by shaking for max. contact, filtration and centrifugal separation and/or flotation but the absorbent is preferably held in a proper vessel through which the liq. can be brought into efficient contact with the absorbent by a proper pump. A color developing agent used is a prim. arom. amine.
