Title:
PROCESSING METHOD OF PHOTOSENSITIVE LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6177854
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To replenish a developing replenisher with good accuracy over a long period of time by measuring the degree of elution of a photosensitive layer in the part of the photosensitive layer where the elution rate is different from the elution rate of the other non-image part after the passage through a developing zone and replenishing said replenisher according to the measured degree of elution.

CONSTITUTION: The replenisher is replenished at the quantity corresponding to the number of each clear stage determined preliminarily according to the number of the steps where the photosensitive layer is just eluted, i.e., the number of clear steps for the density of the number of each step of the developed PS step after bringing a step tablet into tight contact with the PS plate and exposing and developing said plate. The degree of the elution of the photosensitive layer is detected as a change in electric resistance, electrostatic capacity, etc. The relation between the measured value corresponding to the degree of elution and the adequate replenishing quantity corresponding to the measured value is preliminarily determined by experiment, etc. and the replenishing quantity may be determined in accordance with said relation. The quantity of the developing replenisher to be replenished per time is preferably ≤10l for each 40l charge quantity of the mother liquor of the developing soln. and more preferably ≤4l for each 40l charge quantity of the mother liquor.
