Abstract:
To provide a processing method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material improved in white background properties.
In the processing method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material, an exposed silver halide color photographic sensitive material is color-developed and stabilized. A fluorescent brightening agent represented by formula (II) is contained in the silver halide color photographic sensitive material in an amount of 0-0.035 g/m2, and a sulfinic acid derivative represented by the formula (I): RSO2M is contained in a stabilizing solution for carrying out the stabilization in an amount of 2.0-30.0 mmol.
