PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of adhesion propery and contamination of a photosensitive material after continuous processing by incorporating an org. acid iron (III) complex salt and dicarboxylic acid compd. into the processing liquid and incorporating a water-soluble cellulose deriv. into a stabilizing liquid.

CONSTITUTION: In the process including color developing, desilverizing and processing with a stabilizer, the processing liquid having bleaching performance used in the desilverizing process contains at least one kind of org. acid iron (III) complex salt and at least one kind of dicarboxylic acid compd. The stabilizer contains at least one kind of water-soluble cellulose deriv. In this case, the processing liquid having bleaching performance means a processing liquid containing a bleaching agent used for the desilverizing process. For example, it means a bleaching liquid or a bleaching and fixing liquid. The dicarboxylic acid compd. is a satd. carboxylic acid compd. or unsatd. coarboxylic acid compd. having two carboxyl groups in one molecule or aromatic carboxylic acid having two carboxyl groups in one molecule.
