Title:
PROCESSING METHOD FOR SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3691205
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure satisfactory dryability even by processing under slight replenishment by processing a silver halide photographic sensitive material with a specified fixing soln. contg. a sulfite, a thiosulfate, etc.
SOLUTION: A silver halide photographic sensitive material is processed with a fixing soln. contg. 0.01-0.03mol/l sulfite, a thiosulfate and 0.15-0.50mol/l succinic acid while replenishing the fixing soln. by 25-250ml per 1m2 of the sensitive material. The fixing soln. is a thiosulfate-contg. aq. soln. of ≥pH4.2, preferably pH 4.8-6.2. The thiosulfate is, e.g., sodium thiosulfate or ammonium thiosulfate. The amt. of the thiosulfate used may properly be varied but it is usually 0.3-1.5mol/l. The fixing soln. may further contain a water-soluble ammonium salt acting as a hardening agent, e.g. ammonium chloride.
