PURPOSE: To enable quick processing of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material by incorporating a specified coupler into a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer.
CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive material contg. ≥0.5mol.% AgI in a silver halide emulsion layer, contg. also a coupler selected from compds. expressed by formulas MaWMc in a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and having ≤25μm total thickness of dry film of the whole photography-constituting layer at a side of a base having the silver halide emulsion layers, having also ≤25sec T1/2 swelling velocity of film of a binder contained in the photography- constituting layer, is developed, then the material is processed with a bleach-fix liquid contg. a ferric complex salt of an org. acid. In formulas, each ZaWZc is a group of nonmetal atoms. necessary for forming an N-contg. heterocyclic ring; each XaWXc is an H atom. or a group which can be eliminated during a reaction with an oxidized body of a color developing agent; each RaWRg is an H atom. or a substituent; Y1 is a C atom. or an N atom.; Y2 is a C atom. or a hetero atom. By this constitution, a silver halide color photographic sensitive material is developed quickly.
