Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to automate at least part of whetstone exchange work. Provided is a processing system including: a grinder to which a processing part for processing the surface of an object to be processed is detachably attached; a manipulator to which the grinder is attached and that is configured so as to press the processing part, which is attached to the grinder, against the object to be processed; a processing-part exchange device that exchanges the processing part on the grinder; and a control device that controls the operation of the grinder and the manipulator. The grinder has: a rotary shaft that has a thread groove on an outer circumferential surface thereof and that is screw-engaged with the processing part; a driving device that is capable of rotating the rotary shaft in the normal direction and in the reverse direction; and a fixing mechanism that fixes the rotary shaft. The processing-part exchange device has a hand configured so as to detach the processing part that has been attached to the grinder, in cooperation with the manipulator.
