Title:
PROCESSING OF YARN COMPOSED OF PURIFIED CELLULOSE FIBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0790778
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a processing method of yarns composed of purified cellulose fiber capable of preventing the entanglement of the yarns during creasing processing and enzyme treatment and accordingly increasing productivity.

CONSTITUTION: Yarns composed of purified cellulose fiber to be subjected to creasing processing and enzyme treatment are knitted to a cylindrical knitted fabric (deknit) 4, which is easily reeled into a filament by a weft knitting machine. This deknit 4 is knitted up by forming loop-shape stitches on the yarns composed of purified cellulose fiber and connecting the stitches with each other. In the state of knitted fabric, the yarns composed of purified cellulose fiber is subjected to creasing processing and enzyme treatment using cellulolytic enzyme under wet conditions. After that, the deknit 4 is reeled into a filament yarn composed of purified cellulose fiber.
