Abstract:

To allow a store clerk to efficiently and safely collect bills of high denomination handled in accounting operation by making a store clerk and a person in charge of a store quickly grasp the stored number of bills of high denomination in a drawer, and making persons other than the store clerk such as customers unable to grasp the stored number.

On an information display surface 123 of a display 122 for settlement operation of a POS terminal, a star-shaped icon 323 for indicating the stored number of bills of high denomination (a ten thousand-yen bill) stored in the drawer is displayed. A display mode of the star-shaped icon 323 is changed when a key button 322 for a ten thousand yen bill is touch-operated from a touch panel or a hardware key provided to the POS terminal is pressed down.
