Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce grids continuously by installing plural pieces of dies on a turntable-like rotary table, and operating the injection of molten lead and the rotation of the rotary table cooperatively.

CONSTITUTION: When the dies 10 on a turntable like rotary table 9 come to the position of a nozzle 8 for injection, the pressure in the dies 10 is reduced and molten lead 4 is charged immediately through the nozzle 8 into the dies 10. Upon ending of the charging, the dies 10 are moved by a motor 11 provided under the table 9, and the next dies 10 are set to the position of the nozzle 8 upon said moving, and the similar operations are repeated. Grids are produced continuously by the above-mentioned method.
