PURPOSE: To produce plural pieces of homogeneous grids for lead storage batteries continuously and simultaneously, by connecting plural pieces of pressurizing pots to a lead melting pan and providing nozzles for injection to the respective pressurizing pots.
CONSTITUTION: Dies 10 are closed upon coating of a lubricant on the dies 10 and moves to the position of a nozzle 9 for injection, where the dies move downward and fit onto the nozzle 9. At the same time, the dies 10 are evacuated and pressure is applied on two pressurizing pots 3 by the pressurized air of a compressor 7 for pressurizing. Molten lead 4 is charged through the nozzle 9 into the dies 10. The dies 10 move upward so as to detach from the nozzle 9 and after the lead 4 cools and solidifies, the dies 10 open laterally and the grids are removed.
