Abstract:
To provide a commodity data processing device that can immediately issue a receipt after exchange of receipt rolls and the end of a jam processing operation.SOLUTION: The commodity data processing device has a printer unit, an enclosure that stores the printer unit in an extractable manner, an open/close sensor that detects an open/close state of a cover of the printer unit, and a control unit. In a case where issuance of a receipt by the printer unit is possible at the time point when it is detected that the cover is closed via the open/close sensor in a state where the printer unit has been extracted from the enclosure, the control unit permits issuance of a receipt by the printer unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
