To provide a commodity processor, a commodity selling method, and a program, capable of controlling permission and prohibition of discounts on products with simple processing.SOLUTION: A commodity processor comprises an input unit and an instruction unit. The input unit receives input in a first period. The instruction unit permits a discount of a first commodity in the first period, and disallows a discount of the first commodity in a second period other than the first period. The instruction unit instructs a settlement device that settles prices of the first commodity and a second commodity so as to allow a discount of the second commodity in the first period and the second period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
